About TchinPay

What is TchinPay?

A platform to accept and make payments by Pix and credit card, from customers in Brazil and abroad, with checkout, payment links, sub-accounts and an API.

Is TchinPay a bank?

No. TchinPay is a technology platform. Pix is settled by partner payment institutions authorized by the Central Bank of Brazil, and cards by partner acquirers. Your balance is not a bank deposit and is not covered by the FGC.

Who can open an account?

Individuals aged 18 or over with a valid Brazilian CPF and companies with an active Brazilian CNPJ. The people paying you can be anywhere in the world.

Fees

How much does it cost?

Opening an account is free. Current fees are: Pix received: 1.49% per payment received. Credit card sale: 3.99% + R$0.50 per approved sale. Withdrawal to an account in your own name: R$1.00 per withdrawal. Monthly fee: none. They are always shown in the dashboard before each transaction.

Can fees change?

Yes, with at least 30 days' notice. If you disagree, you can close the account at no cost before the change.

Pix

When does a Pix reach my account?

As soon as the payment is confirmed, usually within seconds, at any time on any day.

I was scammed via Pix. What now?

Contact our support right away. We will file a return request through MED, the Central Bank's mechanism. A refund depends on funds being available in the recipient's account.

Credit cards and international

Can I get paid by customers outside Brazil?

Yes. Your customers pay with an international credit card through checkout or a payment link, and you receive Brazilian reais in your account.

Which currencies can I sell in?

You can show prices in reais, dollars and euros. Foreign-currency sales are converted to reais by an institution authorized to carry out foreign exchange, and the rate appears in each sale's statement.

When do I receive a card sale?

The payout period is shown in the dashboard before each sale. It may vary by card type, buyer country and account history.

What is a chargeback?

It's when a buyer disputes a purchase with their card's bank. We notify you and ask for proof of sale and delivery. If the card network upholds the dispute, the amount is debited from your balance.

Security and account

How is my account protected?

With two-step verification, extra confirmation to send money, encryption and 24/7 fraud monitoring. TchinPay will never ask for your password or codes.

Does TchinPay store my customers' card data?

No. Full card numbers and security codes stay only with PCI DSS certified partners.

How do I delete my account?

From the dashboard, after withdrawing your balance. Some data is kept for the period required by law. See the Privacy Policy.

How do I contact TchinPay?

You can contact us through support inside your account dashboard or the official channels listed on the website.
