TchinPay

Terms of Use

The rules for using a TchinPay account, getting paid by Pix and selling by credit card.

Version 1.0 · Effective November 06, 2026

These Terms explain, in plain language, how the TchinPay account works, what you can expect from us and what we expect from you. By creating an account or using any TchinPay service, you confirm that you have read and agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy.

This is a translation for convenience. If there is any conflict, the Portuguese version prevails.

1. Who we are

TchinPay ("TchinPay", "we", "us") provides a technology platform to accept and make payments by Pix and credit card.

1.1 What TchinPay is and what it is not

  • TchinPay is a technology platform. We provide the experience: sign-up, dashboard, payment requests, checkout, statements and support.
  • TchinPay is not a bank. Pix transactions are settled by partner payment institutions authorized by the Central Bank of Brazil. Card sales are processed by partner acquirers and processors, under each card network's rules.
  • Your TchinPay balance is not a bank deposit, earns no interest and is not covered by Brazil's deposit guarantee fund (FGC).
  • TchinPay does not provide credit or loans and does not issue cards to account holders.

1.2 Who is responsible for what

TchinPay is responsible for the platform, for support and for complying with these Terms. Partners are responsible for settling transactions within their own regulatory roles. When an issue depends on a partner, we act as the go-between and follow the case until it is resolved.

2. Definitions

  • Account: the registration that gives access to the TchinPay dashboard and services.
  • Holder: the individual or company that owns the Account.
  • Buyer: whoever pays the Holder, by Pix or card, including from outside Brazil.
  • Payment request: a request created by the Holder (QR code, Pix copy-and-paste, link or checkout).
  • Checkout: TchinPay's payment page, showing the Holder's brand.
  • Sub-account: a division of the Account to separate balances by store, branch or seller.
  • Chargeback: a dispute of a card purchase raised by the cardholder with the issuing bank.
  • MED: Pix's Special Return Mechanism, created by the Central Bank of Brazil for fraud or operational failures.

3. Who can open an account

Accounts are available to individuals aged 18 or over with a valid Brazilian CPF and to companies with an active Brazilian CNPJ, represented by someone with authority to do so. Buyers may be in any country where the payment is allowed.

Individuals or companies on national or international sanctions lists, or whose Account was previously closed for breaching these Terms, may not open an account.

4. Sign-up and identity verification

To open an Account we ask for personal or company details, documents and, in some cases, a selfie to confirm it is really you. This check is required by law and protects you against misuse of your name.

  • The information you provide must be true, complete and up to date. Let us know whenever something changes.
  • Until verification is complete, the Account may run with lower limits or without permission to send money.
  • We may ask for additional documents at any time, for example to confirm the source of funds or the company's activity.
  • We may decline a sign-up, with reasons, when it does not meet fraud and anti-money-laundering rules.

5. Account access and security

Account access uses email, password and two-step verification. Sending money and sensitive changes require an extra confirmation.

  • TchinPay will never ask for your password or verification codes, by phone, email, message or social media.
  • You are responsible for keeping your credentials safe and for any access made with them.
  • If you suspect unauthorized access, change your password and contact us right away so we can lock the Account as a precaution.

6. Pix

6.1 Receiving

You can create payment requests by QR code, Pix copy-and-paste or link. The amount is added to your balance as soon as the partner institution confirms the payment, net of the applicable fee.

6.2 Sending

You can send by Pix key, Pix copy-and-paste or QR code. Before confirming, check the key, the recipient's name and the amount. A confirmed Pix cannot be cancelled by TchinPay.

6.3 Limits

For security, the Account has limits per transaction, per period and by time of day. Limits are shown in the dashboard and may change according to the Account's history and Central Bank rules.

7. Credit cards and international payments

Holders can accept credit cards from Buyers in Brazil and abroad, through Checkout, payment links or the API.

  • Authorization: every purchase is reviewed by the card's issuing bank and by our fraud checks. A purchase may be declined without us being able to share the reason.
  • Payout timing: each sale becomes available in your balance within the period shown in the dashboard before the sale, which may vary by card type, Buyer country and Account history.
  • Currencies and exchange: sales in foreign currency are converted to Brazilian reais by an institution authorized to carry out foreign exchange. The conversion rate and any applicable taxes appear in each sale's statement.
  • Installments: when available, only for cards issued in Brazil.
  • Reserve: to cover possible Chargebacks and refunds, we may temporarily hold part of the balance, with notice in the dashboard.
  • Card data: full card numbers and security codes are handled only by PCI DSS certified partners. TchinPay does not store this information.

8. Checkout, payment links and sub-accounts

Checkout and payment links show the Holder's name and brand. The Holder is solely responsible for what they sell, for product or service information, delivery, returns and Buyer support, under Brazilian consumer law and, where applicable, the laws of the Buyer's country.

Sub-accounts help organize money. They all belong to the same Holder, who is responsible for every transaction made in them.

9. Fees

Current fees are always shown in the dashboard before each transaction. Today, the reference values are:

  • Pix received: 1.49% per payment received.
  • Credit card sale: 3.99% + R$0.50 per approved sale.
  • Withdrawal to an account in your own name: R$1.00 per withdrawal.
  • Monthly fee: none.

We may change fees with at least 30 days' notice in the dashboard or by email. If you disagree with a change, you can close the Account at no cost before it takes effect.

10. Statements and receipts

Every transaction appears in your statement with date, amount, fee and counterparty details when available. Receipts can be downloaded and shared from the dashboard. If you see anything you don't recognize, contact us as soon as possible.

11. Fraud and money-laundering prevention

We follow Brazilian anti-money-laundering and counter-terrorist-financing law. To do so, we monitor transactions continuously and automatically.

  • We may hold, block or return funds linked to signs of fraud, scams or irregular activity, for as long as the review requires.
  • We may report suspicious transactions to the competent authorities, as required by law, without notifying the Holder.
  • Automated risk decisions can be reviewed by a person on our team at your request.

12. Disputes, Chargebacks and MED

12.1 Pix and MED

If you were scammed when sending a Pix, contact us immediately. We will file a return request through MED with the recipient's institution. A refund is not guaranteed: it depends on funds being available in the destination account and on the institutions' review.

If your Account received a Pix disputed through MED, the amount may be blocked during the review and returned to the payer if the dispute is upheld.

12.2 Card chargebacks

A Buyer may dispute a card purchase with their issuing bank. In that case, we will notify you and ask for proof of the sale and delivery. If the card network upholds the dispute, the sale amount and the network's fees will be debited from your balance or reserve.

13. Prohibited activities

You may not use TchinPay for:

  • any activity that is illegal in Brazil or in the Buyer's country;
  • gambling and betting without authorization from the competent authority;
  • selling weapons, drugs, unregistered medicines or counterfeit and pirated goods;
  • pyramid schemes, promises of guaranteed returns or scams;
  • content involving the exploitation of minors or violence;
  • selling personal data or third-party card data;
  • collecting payments on behalf of others without TchinPay's authorization.

We may also decline high-risk activities under card network and partner rules.

14. Blocking, suspension and closure

14.1 By TchinPay

We may suspend or close the Account in case of a breach of these Terms, false sign-up information, signs of fraud, an order from an authority or significant risk to TchinPay, partners or third parties. Whenever the law allows, we will tell you why. The remaining balance, minus amounts held for review, Chargebacks or court orders, will be transferred to an account in your own name.

14.2 By you

You can close the Account at any time, with no penalty, from the dashboard. Before doing so, withdraw your available balance. Some information will remain stored for the period required by law, as explained in the Privacy Policy.

15. Support and complaints

You can contact us through support inside your account dashboard or the official channels listed on the website. We answer in order of arrival and give you a ticket number for each request.

16. Responsibilities

16.1 Yours

  • Use the Account lawfully and in line with these Terms.
  • Keep your details up to date and your credentials safe.
  • Be responsible for the products and services you sell and for supporting your Buyers.
  • Meet the tax obligations of your sales.

16.2 TchinPay's

  • Keep the platform running securely and diligently.
  • Carry out the transactions you authorize, under Pix and card network rules.
  • Protect your personal data as described in the Privacy Policy.

16.3 Limits

TchinPay is not liable for losses caused by incorrect information you provide, transactions confirmed with your credentials, failures of third-party services beyond our control, or events of force majeure. Nothing in these Terms limits rights that the law grants to consumers.

17. Availability

We work to keep the platform available 24 hours a day, but interruptions may occur for maintenance, updates or third-party failures. We will announce scheduled maintenance in advance whenever possible.

18. Intellectual property

The TchinPay brand, website, dashboard, Checkout and platform code belong to TchinPay. You receive a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use them while your Account is active. The brand and content you upload remain yours.

19. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms to reflect changes in our services or in the law. We will announce relevant changes at least 30 days in advance. If you keep using the Account after the effective date, you agree to the new version.

20. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federative Republic of Brazil. For individual Holders, the courts of their place of residence have jurisdiction. For companies, the courts of TchinPay's headquarters have jurisdiction, unless the law provides otherwise.
